The Weir Rescue (WR) course develops knowledge and rescue techniques specifically for incidents involving weirs and low head dams.

The Weir Rescue Course equips participants with essential knowledge and skills for rescue operations around weirs. The course covers topics such as different weir types, their construction, and related hydrology. Participants also learn how to conduct detailed weir risk assessments.

We include real-life case studies to provide practical insights. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects, including the boat-on-a-highline technique and various weir rescue methods. Additional training includes tethered boat techniques and practical scenarios throughout the course ensure participants gain hands-on experience in weir rescue situations.
