Rope Rescue Technician

The Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) course expands upon the skills acquired in the Rope Rescue Operator (RRO) course, empowering technicians to operate in increasingly challenging environments and employ more sophisticated rope rescue methods.

Techniques covered include using artificial frames, managing complex edge transitions, offsets, and non-reeving highlines, thereby equipping Rope Rescue Technicians with a broader array of rescue solutions.
For even more intricate rescues, complexities, and variations, individuals can delve into the Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS) course, which provides advanced training in these areas.

Core course content includes:

  • Narrow and wide rope transfers / changeovers
  • Casualty care and packaging for horizontal and vertical transport
  • Horizontal edge transitions with an artificial high directional
  • Non-reeving highlines
