The Rope Rescue Operator (RRO) course conveys essential rope knowledge and skills necessary for personnel to function safely and efficiently within a Rope Rescue Operator team.
Participants will learn a variety of fundamental rescue techniques to ensure safe operations. Course content includes instruction on safe practices for working at height, work restraint, fall arrest procedures, casualty care and packaging, team-based pick-offs, as well as team-based raising and lowering systems, among other key skills.
