The Safe Working in Confined Space (Low and Medium Risk, Horizontal) (SWCSH) course is designed for those who need to work in horizontal entry confined spaces that have a low/medium level of atmospheric risk.
As well as covering foundation knowledge on hazards and risk associated with working in confined spaces the course introduces key knowledge on confined space legislation, safe systems of work, gas monitoring, entry control and ventilation.
Core course content includes:
- Use of a gas meter
- Use of Emergency Escape Sets (EEBA)
- Entry and exit procedures for horizontal confined spaces.
