The Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (RROI) course prepares instructors to teach rope rescue at the Operator level. Teaching this course lays down the foundations for safe and effective team-based rope rescue.
Becoming a Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (RROI) enables you to provide rope rescue training for personnel to operate safely and effectively as part of a team. You will teach essential techniques, including safe working at height, work restraint, fall arrest, casualty care and packaging, team-based pick-offs, and team-based raising and lowering systems. On successful completion, Instructors can deliver the following courses:
Safe Working at Height (SWAH)
Safe Working at Height for HART (SWAHHART)
Co-Worker Rescue at Height (CWRH)
Rope Rescue Operator (RRO)

- Training course: 1st – 5th June 2026
- Assessment course: 21st – 23rd July 2026
Non-residential: £1,330.00 ex VAT per person
Residential: £2,290.00 ex VAT per person
(includes all meals and accommodation from the evening prior to the course with check out on the final day of the course).
